Project Discription - Our aim is to build a 206 rear wheel drive stage rally car which will look like the 206WRC of Marcos Gronholm above. We began in August 2003 when we purchased a 1999 206 1.1 with slight damage as shown in the first two pictures below. With the help of Nik Blackhurst (Bad Obsession Motorsport)we began stripping the car down to a bare shell, which took about four hours. We spent about a fortnight just working out which bits needed cutting and which suspension we will run as we wanted to maintain as much of the original shell as possible. We have opted for the two wheel drive cossie set up as we know this works(on a sierra any way). We will continue to add pictures and reports as we progress.

APRIL 2004....The next few pictures show the subframe in place and the engine has been offered up ready for fitting. Once we were happy with the location of the engine and gear box it was time to rebuild the steel bulkhead and gearbox tunnel. Keep checking back for updates.


The next few pictures show the gearbox tunnel finished along with the front cage and dash bars. We then began on making the fuel tank and battery housing where the back seats would of been. Once this was complete we began building the rear diff cradle. Keep checking back for updates.

At last after starting this project in 2003 the body kit is finally going on. Hopefully we should be ready for paint mid October.
December 2007
Well I can't believe the 206 is finaly painted. I have begun putting the car together and hope to have it ready to test in March / April 2008. At the moment there is no reason why this won't happen as I have purchased most of the parts needed now. There won't be any more pictures on now until after christmas so let me just wish you all a happy christmas and thank you all for your continued interest in my car.
